FAQ
What are my location options?
If you have any locations that you'd like to use, we can usually make them work! I have quite a few go-to spots locally, but I'm always down to try new locations as well! We can go over the style that you want your session to reflect and chose a location based on that.
What should I wear to my session?
You can wear whatever is most comfortable to you! There are some colors and styles that work particularly well with my style, but don't worry if you don't have anything like that. Focus on wearing complementary colors, and don't try to match everyone in family portraits.
Here are some ideas of what to wear on my Pinterest board:

Where are you based and do you travel?
I am located in Princeton, North Carolina but will travel anywhere within reason to take your photos. Travel within 40 miles of Princeton is included in the session fee, but after that I charge the IRS standard of $0.57/mile.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 14 days of your session being completed. Most sessions are delivered sooner than that, but in busier seasons, please allow that amount of time. If you have a special case requiring a faster delivery time, please reach out so we can work something out.
How many pictures will we receive?
Delivery number varies based on many factors, but most standard family sessions receive around 15 photos, extended sessions around 30, and senior sessions around 60.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No, you are not required to order prints through the website, but I do recommend either using my contracted lab through your gallery or another professional lab as drug stores, grocery stores, etc. don't have properly calibrated equipment and they will make your photos look much different than they do online.
Do you deliver unedited photos?
No, I do not deliver any unedited photos for any reason. My photos are carefully edited to best reflect the scene, the subject, and my brand, and unedited photos would not be a fair representation of any of those.
